Whitewater Rafting Basic Packing List
Here is a convenient checklist to aid
in your Northern California and Oregon rafting trip preparation. Spring
rafting can be cooler so be sure to pack enough warm clothing. If you
have any questions or are unable to obtain items listed below, please
feel free to contact our office for additional information.
Please note that we supply complimentary wetsuits and
splash jackets on all trips. If needed we can also supply tents and sleeping
bags.
One-day Rafting Trips
Recommended
- Swimsuit
- Quick-drying shorts
- Synthetic clothing: fleece, polypro, capilene, etc. (spring/fall)
- Sunscreen
- Water bottle
- Sunglasses with strap
- Secure footwear: old sneakers, water shoes, sandals with ankle strap
– no flip flops
- Prudent personal medication: epi pen, inhalers, heart meds, etc.
Optional
- Waterproof camera (disposable cameras work great)
- Personal wetsuit, splash jacket/pants
- Dry clothes for the ride home
Multi-Day Whitewater Rafting Trips
Recommended

- Long pants/long-sleeve shirt
- Closed-toe camp shoes/hiking boots
