Choosing
a Whitewater Trip
We offer trips for beginner and experienced paddlers,
families, groups, and single travelers. These trips range from
1/2 day scenic trips to week long down-river adventures. If you
have never been on a river trip, choosing a river can be a little
confusing. The best thing to do is give us a call
or write us an e-mail and let us help you decide what trip
will suit you.
Our
River Comparison Chart:
This is a very helpful tool. It organizes trips by Season, Difficulty,
and Trip Length. The Chart also includes prices, links to each
river, and brief
descriptions of each river.
Overnight Rafting
Trips:
If you have never been on an overnight or multi-day river trip
before, we highly recommend it. There is something special and
relaxing about a few days spent on the river. If you are new to
camping overnights are a great introduction. We carry a lot of
gear; this means you get the benefits of the wilderness, the comforts
of "deluxe" camping, and incredible meals. And you don't
need to do anything but relax and enjoy the area! We set up camp,
cook the meals, and take care of all the details. For more information
on overnights, visit our about
overnights page, the FAQ page, or call or e-mail us.
"Exotic"
and Rarely Run Adventures:
For experienced paddlers and adventurous beginners, the Southern
Oregon / Northern California area offers truly world-class whitewater,
especially in the spring when we offer not only regular trips
on the California
Salmon, but also trips on rarely run rivers such as
the Illinois and the Middle
Owyhee. Ask about setting up a date for a visit to one of
these spectacular places or joining an already scheduled trip.
A great way to find out when these trips can be run is to join
our e-mail
newsletter.
Trip Dates
We are very flexible with scheduling, and trip length. Many times
we can create a trip date to match your travel plans. When we
have start dates listed, it does not mean that we will not or
are not running trips on other dates. We may be able to run a
new trip with a group as small as four people.
Custom, Charter, And Private Rafting Trips
We specialize in putting together custom trips on our regularly run rivers, on rarely rafted rivers, and on combinations of rivers. We also cater to unique needs and interests. Give us a call and we can create a custom trip for a group as small as 8 people and private trips with groups as small as 10 people. We also have fixed prices for private trips with fewer then 10 guests. Check out our Group and Charter page for more information.
Lodging, Getting Here
and Away, and Other Things to Do
The Ashland, Oregon / Northern California area is a playground
of natural wonders and cultural events. For information on lodging,
activities, driving directions, and airports check out our Ashland
Oregon page and The
Area page. Each river page has driving times and directions
to the meeting places from major cities. Please keep in mind that
finding rooms in the Ashland area on weekends can be difficult,
so plan ahead (or try one of our overnight trips!).
