Southern Oregon although less populated and well known arguably has the best rivers for rafting in the state. The transition from the cascades to the Sierras makes for a very diverse selection. Experience of the Guides: This is very important, both for safety reasons and general enjoyment. Before booking a trip ask for the average years of experience of the guides.
Quality of food: This can be a huge part of the rafting experience.
Ecologically sensitivity: Much of the enjoyment of rafting is from being in a place of pristine beauty. It is important to keep these places that way.
