       Ashland, Oregon, our home and the starting point for many of our trips, is also home to the renowned Oregon Shakespeare Festival, great restaurants, and comfortable bed and breakfasts.
   Within a hundred-mile radius of Ashland is a mind-boggling array of natural playgrounds: the spectacular coast, 14,000’ Mt Shasta, Redwood and Crater Lake National Parks, numerous wilderness areas, and miles of world-class whitewater (our favorite, of course).
