Newsletter: Summer '04
Oregon Rafting & Northern California Whitewater Intro

Hello from all of us at Momentum River Expeditions!
We hope everyone is having a great spring and looking forward to summer.
Before we get into our summer trips, we want to thank everyone who joined us so far this spring. The Cal Salmon and Scott trips were amazing: great water, great weather, and, most importantly, great people. Thank you for coming with us!

Below is info on our summer trips (including our new run on the Lower Klamath and a Cal Salmon late-season discount), other bits of news, and pictures from our spring adventures.
Have a great summer everyone, and as always we hope to see you on the river!

CALIFORNIA SALMON DISCOUNT!

The good snow pack and the mild weather is going to allow us to run California Salmon trips into the 3rd week of June. This is one of the most spectacular river trips in the country, and we want to take advantage of the great water and offer a late spring discount from now through June 20 on our 2-night/2-day trips. If you have a chance to make last-minute plans, the Cal Salmon is an unforgettable few days; there is no trip like it in the West.
Check out the trip and prices on our Cal Salmon page.

SUMMER TRIPS

-The Upper Klamath-
Summer means big, fun water on the Upper Klamath. In July and August, most western rivers will be experiencing low rocky flows, but the Upper K will still have plenty of water. It is definitely the most exciting summer class-IV trip in the West. Join us and see why this run’s fame and popularity grows every year.
For info, visit our Upper Klamath page.

-The Lower Klamath-
This is a new summer multi-day trip for us and one that we are very excited about. It offers fun, mild whitewater, remote mountain scenery, beautiful side hikes, and a ridiculous amount of wildlife. Last week we sat for 15 minutes watching a black bear hanging out on the bank. This is a perfect trip for families with young children, first-timers, and people just wanting a relaxing adventure. It is life at the river’s pace with time to slow down, hang out, and truly unwind.
We offer 1 to 4-day trips; check out our new Lower Klamath webpage.

“THE VISIT” by Friedrich Dürrenmatt

Meg says:
“A savagely dark yet humorous tale of vengeance, greed and lemming-like mentality. Brilliantly executed!”

Eddie says:
“Kinda weird.”
