The entire trip was better than any of us could have hoped for. Sure, we would have had fun knitting socks in the WalMart parking lot, as Erik would say, but those four days exceeded our wildest expectations. I could go on and on, as I have to everyone who asks about the trip, but instead I will just say, thank you for everything.- Julie and Michael

Inflatable Kayaking trips
nflatable Kayaking on the Lower Klamath River - It’s just you, your kayak, rapids at “face” level, and guides leading the way giving you tips, encouragement, and a helping hand when needed. Navigating your own inflatable kayak is a unique and very exciting way to experience rivers. Inflatable kayaks add a whole new dimension and sense of adventure to a trip. You are free to explore in a small and maneuverable craft, to feel the rapids up close and personal, and ultimately to test your new river running skills.
Our Lower Klamath Inflatable Kayaking Trips start with a dry land session where you learn basic river hydrology, how to read rapids, and basic paddle skills. We then have some on river practice and soon begin making our way down river. Our trips are raft supported and an instructor is always close by to help you pick your lines, give you tips, and of course, if needed, to fish you out of the water.
Our IK trips on the Lower Klamath River range from 1-day to 4-days. The Lower Klamath's rapids are mild for rafts, but very exciting (yet manageable) for Inflatable Kayaks. These adventures are great for people who have done a lot of rafting and want to try something different. They also work well for groups and families who have some members wanting a mild adventure (they are in the raft) and others wanting something more exciting
New For 2008
Spring Lower Klamath Clear Creek 3-day trips. We are really excited about these! We start our trip on a spectacularly beautiful, remote, and extremely rarely run tributary of the Klamath. Once we meet the Klamath we continue down stream and enjoy the river at higher spring flows. The trip offers perfect rapids for Inflatable Kayaking,
spectacular mountain scenery, beautiful side hikes, and a chance to run a stretch of river that is rarely seen (or even heard of).
Minimum age 14
