T

he Wild and Scenic Klamath River is the second largest river in California and offers over 184 miles of whitewater rafting. Fun splashy rapids, spectacular mountain scenery, beautiful side hikes, warm water, and a staggering amount of wildlife make this one of the best summer multi-day trips in the west. The mild whitewater also makes this a perfect rafting trip for families with children, first-timers, travelers interested in a relaxing and fun wilderness experience, and for inflatable kayaking.

The Lower Klamath cuts through the remote Klamath Mountains, land of the Bigfoot and home to black bear, deer, otter, and eagles. As the river flows west, the canyon becomes more and more lush, and numerous side streams and rivers add to the flow. We journey through the most scenic and secluded miles, including a visit to the rainforest setting of Ukonom Falls, one of the finest side hikes in California, where we can swim in the pools below the falls or just lie on the rocks enjoying the sun.

On multi-day trips, all our food and gear is packed in rafts. We spend the days floating down river, the evenings on large sandy beaches, and the nights under the stars. As with all our overnight trips, the camping is deluxe and the food is excellent. A Lower Klamath trip truly offers you a chance to slow down, unwind, and watch the world float by. It is an experience you will always remember.

Bachelor Party Thank You
Pete, I wanted to thank you and your guides for a fantastic weekend! Adam and Johnny were great, and everyone had a blast. We're already talking about making this a yearly trip for the guys! Thanks very much! Sean

Youth Trip
Right on guys! We loved the trip too. Such a privilege to learn from all of you. Your team, each of you, have incredible talent and passion for the river. One thing we teach at Lifeschool is to find what you love, and do it. You all role model that so well to the kids. Thanks again for an awesome trip.

Pete, I am sure you had several guides that you could have given us, so I really appreciate that you gave us your best one, Alan. As you know I was a bit nervous putting my kids on the river, but what a great time we had as a family. I found the trip adventurous and safe and your company very qualified. We rode with another family that used your company last year and raved about you during the trip. The river was incredible and my kids are still talking about it. Alan was a true professional with a lot of experience that immediately put me at ease. I new if a problem arose he would go into that river with me without hesitation after my kids even at great risk to himself. My kids are already asking when are we going back. When we get back out to the Northwest we will certainly call you to book another trip. Please pass on my thanks to Alan for an unbelievable experience.
