THANK YOU, Wendy and I had the time of our lives on the Lower K! The river was breathtakingly beautiful, the food was exquisite, and you guys made everything fun! (Wendy has not stopped gushing about the river sauna since we got back!) - Kevin
The lower klamath
River
he
Wild and Scenic Klamath River is the second largest river in California
and offers over 184 miles of whitewater rafting. Fun splashy rapids,
spectacular mountain scenery, beautiful side hikes, warm water,
and a staggering amount of wildlife make this one of the best
summer multi-day trips in the west. The mild whitewater also makes
this a perfect rafting trip for families with children, first-timers,
travelers interested in a relaxing and fun wilderness experience, and for inflatable kayaking.
The Lower Klamath cuts through the remote Klamath Mountains, land
of the Bigfoot and home to black bear, deer, otter, and eagles.
As the river flows west, the canyon becomes more and more lush,
and numerous side streams and rivers add to the flow. We journey
through the most scenic and secluded miles, including a visit
to the rainforest setting of Ukonom Falls, one of the finest side
hikes in California, where we can swim in the pools below the
falls or just lie on the rocks enjoying the sun.
On multi-day trips, all our food and gear is packed in rafts.
We spend the days floating down river, the evenings on large sandy
beaches, and the nights under the stars. As with all our overnight
trips, the camping is deluxe and the food is excellent. A Lower
Klamath trip truly offers you a chance to slow down, unwind, and
watch the world float by. It is an experience you will always
remember.

Lower klamath experince
We loved our rafting trip with you and Aisling! You two were excellent guides and cooks too! It was the highlight of our trip. We really appreciated the care in preparing the food, the organic and tasty ingredients and feeling pampered! We also appreciated your patience with Geo and letting everyone have fun while staying safe. You seemed to know
when to pull in the reins and when to let them make their own mistakes.
