They Are Unique, Exciting, and we love them!
avigating
your own inflatable kayak is a unique, rewarding, and very exciting
way to experience rivers. It’s just you, your kayak, rapids at “face” level, and guides leading the way giving you tips, encouragement, and a helping hand when needed. Inflatable kayaks add a whole new dimension
and sense of adventure to a trip. You are free to explore in a
small and maneuverable craft, to feel the rapids up close and
personal, and ultimately to test your new river running skills.
While you do need to be in reasonable physical conditions you do not need to have any previous rafting or kayaking experience. Our Inflatable Kayaking Trips start with a dry land session where
you learn basic river hydrology, how to read rapids, and basic
paddle skills. We then have some on river practice and soon begin
making our way down river. Our overnight trips are raft supported and an
instructor is always close by to help you pick your lines, give
you tips, and of course, if needed, to fish you out of the water.
Build Your Own Trip Options:
We specialize in running small custom trips. The private 3-day Inflatable Kayaking trip and The 4-Day Lower Klamath / Upper Klamath Combo (3- days inflatable kayaking on the Lower K finished with a day on the class 4+ Upper Klamath) have become very popular summer options for groups, bachelor parties, etc.
We also offer charter trips on the Lower Owyhee and some of our
rarely run spring rivers when the water is low. Check out our Build Your own Trip Page for more info.
