...What really stood out above all was your commitment to safety. The river was BIG and all the measures you had in place to make us feel safe made the trip that much more fun...
Class V Rafting
he ultimate challenge in white water rafting! Class five rafting is strenuous, adventurous, and for those who are ready, an incredibly fulfilling experience.
Previous rafting experience is helpful, but it is not always required. What is required is full participation, teamwork, and an adventurous spirit! While you need not be an athlete, good physical condition is also required. Typically our class V clients jog, play tennis, ski, swim, do aerobics, bicycle, etc. regularly to stay in shape.
Each trip begins with extensive training and may include a Class-V Paddler's Test. This is not competitive or macho - it is done to emphasize teamwork, build confidence, to serve as a tool for you, and for us to judge your readiness to paddle class V. For more info on this test click here.
We love these trips, take more people down class V rivers then anyone in our area, and have extremely accomplished class V guides. Below are our regularly offered trips. You can also give us a call for a custom trip.

Momentum=WOW From the pre-trip checklist, to arrival at camp, every spot along the river, and until I left camp, Momentum made my trip a memorable experience. This was my third river-rafting trip and nothing compares to my experience on the Salmon. First rate guides made the experience memorable by being very personable, sharing their rafting and local knowledge, as well as ensuring a safe trip through some insane rapids. I didn't realize how intense the rapids were until I saw the pictures of me under many 3 foot walls of water.
Cal Salmon and Scott rivers Awesome trip- the best and most consistent whitewater we have run since the Apurimac in Peru. Couldn't ask for better guides- everyone was really friendly, helpful and very safety-conscious. And the food... and the wine-tasting...YUM!
